From SP0256 opcode to PIC (Cc5x) lookup table

B.Knudsen's PIC C-kompilator Cc5x ]

SP0256 is the name of a speech synthesizer chip from the 1980's. The chip containded the 59 allophones of the english language (+5 pauses of different duration), and could therefore be used to pron and could therefore be used to pronounce any English sentence. The chip production has stopped a long time ago, but the remaining stock is available for sale on http://www.speechchips.com.

For the convenience of those who want to try how it may sound, Ken Lemieux on the company SpeechChips has made a PC-program that emulates the chip SP0256 with the help of the PC soundcard. This program is called ChipTalk and it can be freely downloaded and installed on your computer. The installation program is ChipTalkSetup.exe.
In addition to playing how it will sound, it will also provide a text string with the actual SP0256-opcodes.

With the Javascript on this page you can quickly convert the SP0256 opcode textstring, to the C function the PIC-processor will need to be able to say the same thing.
